During the past few months we have all been through lots of changes. As a counsellor, I have seen big changes in the way I have had to work.
I have also had lots of enquiries from friends and colleagues who have been thinking about their careers and may want to add another string to their bow.
It is for this reason that I have written a counselling course which can be taught and assessed online!
Not only that, the course will be accredited by an independent international body that specialises in accrediting holistic courses taught online.
The course, entitled “Acquire Develop and Practice Counselling Skills with a Young Adult Specialism” will be based on the first course I took in Counselling. The NCFE Level 3 Diploma. This course helped me to understand the mechanics and challenges of counselling and helped me fall in love with it.
I have added the Young Adult Specialism as this is the area I have seen the highest demand in. Further specialisms will include Mindfulness, Coaching, Personality Types and more.
There are many counselling courses available online, some better than others! Obviously this one is amazing!
This course is delivered via pre-recorded video with exercises and assignments added in. The course will last for 25 weeks. You will get email support from me and one 40 minute zoom session at a point in the course to suit you!
If that’s not enough, you will also get access to my online course aimed at Young Adults dealing with Anxiety for free! You can use this as a learning tool, a mentoring tool whatever!
I believe that counselling practice properly starts when you begin to use the skills you have learned. That is why the course involves lots of reflection and practice which you can upload for assessment. I also believe that learning should take place in a safe, non-judgemental and supportive setting, which is why I have decided to restrict each accredited learning qualification group to 15.
