Your Brain will outlive Social Media!

This post is especially for you if you if you’re feeling a bit “burned out” regarding Social Media.

How can you stop that sinking feeling that overcomes you every time you check your device or turn on the TV?

First of all, we have to remind ourselves that we all possess a brain… yes we do – even though it might not feel like it at the moment.

We are all functioning humans and as such we have something that is more valuable than anything because it keeps us alive…


Yes! It’s true! We have this brilliant pulsating blob of pinky-grey stuff inside our heads and it can do everything! It can help us to read, to talk, to touch, to feel to hear, to smell and it can compute millions of pieces of information.

Now, imagine that you had just been given this amazing gift and told that you must look after it, tend to it, keep it alive.

What would you do?

Would you feed and nourish it by giving it what it needs to thrive? a vast variety of information, kindness, rest, nourishment?

Or would you lock it inside a 5.5 inch box, only allowing it to access filtered information from a tiny sample of the World, forcing it to make decisions about whether it agrees with or disagrees with strangers, politicians and journalists?

What would happen to your beautiful and precious gift?

What to do now…

Treat your most precious commodity to a rest from its 5.5 inch box. Let it run free, laugh at funny TV, read a book, look at nature. You could even challenge it to a game or two.

Trust me when I say, it will reward you with feelings of happiness and contentment the like of which you probably cannot remember.
