It’s world mental health day. Apparently the day when you can say you’re not ok.
Why do we need a day to focus on mental health? I always find marking something with a “day” weird.
I say don’t choose a day, don’t choose a time. Any day and any time are ok to not be ok and anyone can be ok with not being ok, it’s as simple as that.
This afternoon, after working with students in school, I’m attending a local event organised by Lichfield Council where professionals who work with young adults in the realms of mental health will meet with community groups to talk about joined up strategies.
